Several of Patrick's most avid interests come together in this project. He is a lifelong film enthusiast, a passionate student of Eastern philosophy, and an admitted Nipponophile. His love of the films discussed in Stray Dogs & Lone Wolves: The Samurai Film Handbook is infectious and comes through in the writing. Patrick holds a BA degree in English Literature from San Francisco State University, has traveled in Japan and speaks a fair amount of Japanese. This is his first book about film.
